Camp Taiwan is a unique experience!

Every year a few lucky individuals take the plunge and if you want to do something out of the ordinary then maybe there’s a place for you. Your experience is important to us!
We run student camps and courses, but when we’re not doing that the activity centre becomes a hostel. So, we know what it takes to help you find the experience of a lifetime and the quality of your experience means a lot to us. Since 2006 we’ve had visitors from UK Universities take part in our camps and this year it’s going to be even better.
Our staff are all travellers and adventurers too!
You’ll be working with experienced travellers and teachers from the UK and USA. They all know what it’s like to come to a new country and they still have that travellers’ passion themselves…or else they wouldn’t be here.
We're unique!
We’re the only Summer Camp program that takes you to Taiwan and our camps are uniquely different too. All the ideas and culture behind our camps are taught and brought to life in using our hands-on methods and the centre changes according to the theme of the camp. So, if you’re on a cowboy camp then at some point you’re going to be dressed as a cowboy and riding a horse, dealing black jack in our saloon and riding our rodeo bull.
We want you to love Taiwan as much as we do. So, you’ll get travel breaks during the camps and after the completion of your contract you’ll get up to 1 month of travel and using our hostel experience we’ll help you make the most of it. We can help to set-up any mountain climbing breaks, surf trips or temple pilgrimages you want to take. Although the camp location is set in quite a small rural town Taiwan’s great travel links can rocket you to the capital in 90 minutes or the mountains in 30. This means that you can really make the most of your breaks between camps and not just your end of contract holiday.
New Visa Regulations
Between March and September 2009 you can travel to Taiwan for 90 days visa free.
You don’t pay us any fees!
Unless you request us not to, we’ll help you arrange your flights. But, we don’t take any commission on these so you can pay the airline directly. Your place on the program will be confirmed once your plane ticket has been confirmed. So, the only guarantee that we take is, that once you’ve paid for your plane ticket then you must have a very good reason for cancelling.
Applying is easy!
To secure your placement on our Camp Taiwan program for summer or winter '09 here's what you need to do...
Complete our email application form and take part in either an on-line video interview or telephone interview. You’ll then be sent information about the camps that you’ll be taking part in and if everybody’s happy then we’ll continue on to stage 2.
We’ll arrange the flights and health insurance for you and if you’re happy then you pay for that.
Stage 3: You jet off to Taiwan, you take part in some crazy summer camps, you travel around a bit, you're happy, our students are happy, we’re happy. Go home reminisce and fight the urge to come back!
